Caregiver Responsibilities MAY Include :

​

• Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, grooming, bathing feeding, cooking small meals, dressing and bathing assistance.​

• Following a Plan Of Care, medication reminders, and socializing.​

• Ensure client's home is tidy and organized according to their needs and to meet safety measures. You may be expected to help with light housework.​

• Encouragement of socialization, or providing emotional support.​

• Provide mobility help, transferring from bed to a chair for example. ​

• Transporting client to medical appointments or grocery shopping.​

• Monitoring changes in behavior and needs.​

Caregiver Requirements:

​

• Six (6) months prior experience.

• Previous experience helpful but will train the right persons. ​

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.   (strongly desired)

• Driver's license (strongly desired)​

• Professional and friendly attitude.​

• A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include nights and weekends.​

• Strong people skills helpful​

• Be observant
